Two-story brick pier construction with low-pitch, nearly flat, gable roof, eight-over-eight double-hung sash. Window openings have flat lintels on the ground floor, arched at second floor. The building is sited between the river and road in a narrow valley rising toward the east away from the Connecticut River.
